Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

No notice was given before being served by court officer. I contacted my land lord, paid in full plus an extra month. I was told that all proceedings would be stopped. Received a letter today that i have till Nov 1 to vacate. Was told by her son that

noticed was sent certified mail but was never received. Do i have any legal recourse to give me more time in Illinois?

"Maybe". Someone needs to go to court and check what actually happened and if the landlord reported your payment --- because if it was done on time the notice you got may have been rendered VOID and proceeding in court on it may have been wrong. Alternatively, you may have the ability to vacate the court action. And then again if you were at the end of your lease and unless you were in a place that requires notice not to renew, the landlord may just simply be not renewing you. That's a different story. You need to find a lawyer in your locality and if you can't afford one you should check with the area bar association for someone who might take the case for what you can afford. Good luck.
