Past Eviction Effects on Renting
I had an eviction in Michigan less than a year ago. I am currently hoping to rent in Illinois. How will my eviction impact my ability to rent? Additionally, how do I obtain housing if the eviction will prevent me from renting?

Every landlord has different standards for checking credit and payment history. You can check your credit report to see whether the judgment was reported to the credit agencies.
