Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
i have been paying rent and my back lot rent but now my landlord gave me a 5 day eviction paper but it is not from the court house its from her i have proof that i have been paying and letters from my landlord saying i own her different amount of money and three letters all havea different amount on them none are the same amount at all. what should i do

A 5-day notice is normally a necessary prelude to an eviction case. So if you can't work it out with her you should get counsel because the next step would normally be an eviction lawsuit where you would have the opportunity to defend whether rent was due.
