What process must I go through to evict a tenant three months behind on rent. I live in the city of Rockford

Five day notice of amount due delivered to the tenant. I would recommend using the statutory form to avoid any surprises. If money is not received within the five days, commence a forcible entry and detainer action. If you are not familiar with this process, you should contact an attorney to assist you. One mistake can cause big problems for you.
