Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

If your boyfriend is on the lease or is living with you, maybe, if his presence is causing problems for the landlord like a nuisance or if the boyfriend is not supposed to be living there. You'd have to talk to the landlord to find out if they even want you in the place anymore and what it might take for you to stay on. That doesn't mean what they're doing is right but often the answer is negotiation and not litigation.
