If you mean you have a lease on a house and it is not habitable but the landlord is making the repairs is the landlord responsible for finding you alternative housing, there are many questions such as whether you moved into the place knowing it needed work, etc. and whether dealing with the situation was part of the deal. Since you say nothing about this, you still must look at your lease. If you have no lease, that's also a different story. So without additional facts it's hard to say. But if you have no written lease you might possibly be able to cancel on 30 days' notice, which may help. If you have a lease, say, for a year, you may be locked in but generally NO except that you should not have to pay for lodging twice....
