what to know what rights to i have . i rented a house in may not knowing it was unhabital and delinqent . in sept. i agreed to vaate by end of oct.. however i,m still there and now the place is in foreclosure and i need answers. owner also has several violations from city inspectors

It appears you rented a house that is in foreclosure. The lender can have you evicted, but the lender may be happy to have a tenant paying rent, but this is not something you bargained for with a lease. You're in Chicago (based on ZIP); Chicago has an ordinance that allows tenants to offset a portion of rent if there are code violations but that would mean putting money in the house and why would you. The Chicago Bar Association also has a lawyer referral program that could help you. Good luck.
