Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
I had a room mate and we split half the bills every month. When moving out I asked if she settled everything, her response was everything was taken care of. After 2 weeks of being moved out, I recieved calls from the cable, gas and electric all stating we had back money due. When I tried to reach her, she stopped answering my calls, after a week of calling and texting, she shut her phone off. Now I have roughly $1500 in bills, and cannot find her. Is there a I can sue without having her where-abouts?

To sue someone you ultimately need to find them for proper service of summons. Usually you hire a private investigator to find them.
