Roomate Avice
If a roommate moved out during the middle of the lease with a remainder of four months left on the lease how much is the roommate responsible for?

What does your lease say? Most leases provide that each tenant is responsible for the full amount of the rent, and it does not matter if one tenant moves out or refuses to pay, the other tenant is still responsible for the full rent.
