roomate
my roomate thinks she is a slick one. she's secretly planning to move out and not telling me. and she is behind on the rent. wat can i do.

While I may not give you legal advice because you are not yet my client, generally speaking each tenant is responsible for all of a lease so if a roommate moves out, the other roommate is liable for the full rent. Have you let the landlord know? Have you tried to find another roommate? If you live in the City of Chicago, you may have recourse under the City Landlord Tenant ordinance.
