Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
i had sheriffs office serve my tenant for eviction after i gave a five day notice then i showed up to court and judge told me i need a lawyer cause i filed complaint under a LLC judge continued court for next week so my question is do i file for eviction again under my name or get a lawyer. if i file complaint again do i go to court next week for continuance(what happens if i dont show up to court) or just go to new court date.

Get a lawyer if the landlord is an LLC.
IF this is an LLC lease, there MAY be a way to assign the lease from the LLC to you, and then you can represent yourself, but this can have legal and tax consequences.
So you should seriously consider getting an attorney involved.
