Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

Hi,

I have signed a lease agreement with 2 more friends with following term written in lease

"Lease can be terminated with notice period of 1 month in case of any emergency\location change\transfer\deputation"

Now after 2 months things not working out for me as i have to travel 2 places for my work & there is problem with me s my friends so i have given notice period of 1 month to my landlord saying things not working out for me s my friends & due to work i am changing my location to some locaiton where both the places easily accessable & i have mental pease & its an emergency for me.

But now land lord is threatening for legal action & want me to stay untill he get a new tenant.

Please suggest as it like mental pressure on me & i want to get rid of it as soon as possible.

Additional information

This was a plain lease agreement printed by landlord jus with my & my friend's name on it.

My & other people's SSN,Address,contact info not mentioned on lease.

4 names on lease...3 people signed it...

If it is just you, you can not break the lease. If it is all three or four of you who can prove "emergency/location change/transfer/deputation" then upon proper notice, the lease is terminated.
