Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
Can a tenant's mother sue me (the Landlord) for the part of the deposit deducted for cleaning. the lease states NO sub-leasing.

If she is a lessee yes. Otherwise no privity on contract. She can not sue you.
