Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Illinois

Is a outside consultant allowed to enter a board of trustees executive session without invitation? and what would be the legal consequences of doing so?

This does not appear to be a legal ethics/professional responsibility question, so you might try reposting. That being said, it depends on what type of organization and the bylaws of the organization. I can think of no "legal consequences" other than perhaps trespassing?
