Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Illinois
I went to a lawyer that I think is not reputable. All I want is all the material that he has which has anything to do with or with the case that I used him for.
In other words, I don't want him to have any kind of file on me or anything to do with me.
Do I have the right to request that material and how can I make sure he doesn't have copies

For his professional protection, he may want to keep copies. You have the right to request your originals.
