Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Illinois
Today I was walking my dog and he pooped ! I was next to an apartment building with a dumpster next to the alley, so I threw the poop out, tied up in a bag! I was yelled at! Is this illegal or can I dispose of my dogs poop in this dumpster?

Dumpsters are private property. Either of the building or of the company that provides the garbage pickup service owns it. You are trespassing no matter how nicely you may have "packaged the poop".
