Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Illinois
County Dr didn't read lab results. The test results 2 yrs ago are/were marked H (high) Cholesterol and Glucose, and Low WBC. Dr told me labs were "fine". Knowing or treating those could have prevented full blown diabetes, fatty liver, malabsorption and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. So, under the IL Gov't Employee Tort Immunity Act, is he immune? Does definition of "diagnose" include reading a test result that's already labeled?

Not necessarily immune. You need to se an attorney and provide all medical records and a timeline as to when you became aware of your current condition.
