Re: Instrument left behind
Dear Ms.___;
If in fact an instrument was left behind you have a clear case against both the surgeon as well as the Hospital.
Damages would include your pain and suffering, scarring, and past and future medical expenses as well as lost wage.
Please call us to discuss. We are a firm that has been in existence for 26 year and have successfully handled many such cases.
Sincerely,

Re: Instrument left behind
At this stage it is very difficult to know whether you have or have not a case for malpractice. There are several questions that must be answered first. The only way to answer all questions is to review all your medical records and notes including the radiology notes and find out what is what.
I am just puzzled at the fact that you had an MRI with a metal artifact inside your body--MRI being a magnet, the metal should have caused havoc... It may well have and you may also have additional cause of action.
I simply cannot know until I have looked at the medical records and have an expert review it all and give me an opinion about all of this.
If you have any question(s) feel free to contact me. Initial consultation is always free.
Re: Instrument left behind
It is very important that you do not sign anything releasing anyone from liability (including the hospital or individual doctors). If they left something inside of you then you have a very strong case for medical malpractice.
Please feel free to contact us to discuss the details of your case. We do not charge for an initial consultation and may be able to handle your case at no cost to you unless a judgment has been rendered in your favor.
