Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Illinois

My living will

Hi I have prepared a living will and

have it signed by two other people

and myself as the printed document

required. This living will was

prepared from the website

doyourproxy.org/living

will1.php

What I need to know, Is this

document legally binding? Does it

hold the same power as a will

drawn up by an attorney or law

firm? Is this a correct document

that holds legal power in Illinois, I

have it signed by two different

people. Thanks!

Re: My living will

Assuming you did everything correctly, then the will is as good as if an attorney did it.

But, if an attorney did not prepare the will and you are going by what a website told you, then I cannot vouch for the accuracy of all of the instructions. For example, I do not know if the people who signed the will followed all the procedures properly or if the language in the will does what you want it to do.

Feel free to call us if you have any questions.
