How long do it take a lawyer to get medical records for a wrongful death i hired this lawyer on july and here it is oct and he still haven,t got the medical records he couldn,t he supeane the medical what can he do to get the medical records its a contigency case do i need to pay him is it about the cost it should take that long for medical records

Before you rush and blame your lawyer, call him or her and nicely ask what the issue is. Things that may seem simple to you, may not be so simple when you find out the details and the efforts involved in it.

Ask the lawyer for copies of the request(s) and copies of the call notes or log entries for follow up. If there has been less than two attempts and no followup
