If a physician administers a drug that was on the medical chart as the patient being allergic to, is there grounds for tort relief?

Probably, if the patient was recieved substantial injury as a result. The nature and extent of the allergy and whether there were alternative drugs for use would need to be considered.

If there was any permanent damage to the patient or a horrendous reaction there may be a claim.
