Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Illinois

Pregnant and Pronounced Dead At The Hospital Cover-Up

In 1974 my husband suffered stomach pains and was admitted to the hospital. I was 5 mths pregnant. I came home discovered bleeding. Rushed to the hospital emergency, a stab case come in after myself.

I never received help, bleeding very badly over the bed, no attention was give just a towel which was drenched in blood dripped onto the floor, I had gotten weak from blood lose.

They finally rushed me somewhere, I asked me if i wanted my baby, I stated angrily ''yes'' and I blacked out.

I woke up in a room with a drop-light overhead, steal sliding door, dark room with stretchers and a wooden blank. I saw an old lady mopping she called for someone to get me. I was taken to a dim room with bars on the window, doctor never came to my room, there was a small poorly lit lamp.

I phoned my mother-in-law she said hospital phoned that I expired.

I never saw the doctor, they never said what happened to my baby, just gotten OB check-up, baby was fine, Just released.

Is there a statue oflimitation on Life?

There is no statute of limitation for homicide, but there is for medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, etc.

The statute of limitations for medical malpractice is 3 years or 1 year, depending on the facts. Either way, that time has long passed. I am sorry for your experience.
