someone discharged goes awol

Ok my brother enlisted in the us army and was found to have a heart condition his heart is to slow and he has high blood pressure well anyways the put him in a group of people called the ''loser group'' thats where all the injured people are they basically are just in a room all day then later the drill instructors come in and cuss at them calling them ''f*****g pus***'' saying that they faked their injuries when my brother had a EKG and wanted to stay well they already discharged him for 2 weeks already and they still havent sent him home he offered to even pay for his plane ticket back home but had no success so him and another person just left the legal term is AWOL is there anything the army can do to him since he is already discharged he has only been gone for almost a whole entire day what can we do and what do you reccomend please help if you can

Your brother is in trouble. He needs to return immediately to complete his out-processing. He is probably not fully discharged yet, despite what he may have been told, otherwise they would have sent him home on orders. He should return to the base today.

With all due respect, your rendition of the "facts" are bizarre, to say the least. No matter what anyone told your brother orally, I very strongly suspect that he is NOT officially discharged. He should turn himself in to the nearest military authority as soon as he can, if not sooner!
