I am active duty military, and need to know what type of businesses I am legally able to participate in and own? Examples are LLC, corporation, partnership, and Sole Proprietor.

The question is not what kind of business entity, but will it conflict with your gov't service and the bidding process. You could, e.g., be considered an "insider". Why don't you consult your local NLSO?? It's free.
