Legal Question in Military Law in Illinois
petitioning discharge from Navy
My husband went into Navy RTC and was upset the first few days. He was sad about missing home and haveing to miss his first child being born. He went to an RDC and talked to him about his situation to get it off his chest. He was then sent to a physciatrist and now they are trying to discarge him. He really wants to be there but they are saying he has mental illness makeing it incapable of functioning properly. He gets the chance to go to legal and have an interview before their final decision on discharge. What is the best thing to do to try to convince them to let him stay in and finish basic training. He is even willing to start completely over.
