You posted this in the Personal Injury Forum, so I am guessing that you have a contingency agreement. Since a contingency agreement is not hourly, some attorneys do not keep track of their time. However, if you discharge the attorney, and if he or she wants to be paid for the work provided, they will have to provide proof of the time spent. You are certainly entitled to copies of all work provided on your behalf.
