Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

I was in a car accident and issued a check by the other party's insurance company. The check issued is more than the body shop estimated by 600.00. Do I keep the r600.00 or return it to the issuing company?

you had best call the insurance company and bring it to their attention and find out what the addlt 600 is for. the check may have release language on it. if you were injured they may be trying to settle your injury for the 600.. it is always better to be honest and up front. if they say it is for your inconvenience etc and you were not injured then great. good luck.
