I just recently fired my attorney due to unsatisfactory results. How can I find out whether or not she has filed my personal injury case with the courts (Dekalb County/Illinois)?

I would suggest that you call or visit the office of the circuit clerk at the county court house, and ask a clerk to check for any suits filed listing you as the plaintiff.
