Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois
The other day I was in a minor accident. It happened at a speed of about 3mph. There was no damage to my car or the lady in front of me. We disagreed as to who was at fault and the argument got heated. I said she backed into me as I had come to a complete stop and she claimed I rolled into her. We exchanged information and i took a picture of her bumper to show there was no damage and document her license plate. While we where arguing she threatened to call the police and said she felt a twinge in her neck. No police report was field but she called me latter that day asking me to come to the police station to file one. I declined and this morning I received a message from her insurance asking about the "details" of the accident. She was between the ages 0f 55-60 and looked like she hadn't taken very good care of herself over the years, that is to say, she didn't look healthy. I'm worried she is going to try to sue me and I'm not sure what to do next. Should I file a police report contesting who was at fault? Should I call her insurance back at all? does she even have a case or should I just ignore it?

First, do not call her insurance company back. You are under no obligation to speak with them and frankly, her insurance company will likely ask you questions designed to place fault upon you.
Second, call your own insurance company and explain the situation to them. You pay insurance in part to have their assistance in matters such as these.
