Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

daycare lack of supervision

My six year old attended a daycare center and I know of 4 seperate occasions and possibly may be others, when my child and another child at the daycare were involved in activity of a sexual nature (touching, kissing, language, etc). I was never notified by the director and nothing was documented. I heard about incidents from staff and was also told not initiated by my child (I use to work there also). I am very very upset about the fact that I was not told about these incidents and they were not documented. Also the lack of supervision of the staff that this type of behavior was able to happen time and time again. I am also sure that the director was notified. Do I have a lawsuit? I would like to go into detail but this is difficult for me. Please advise. Thank you.

Re: daycare lack of supervision

You may very well have an actionable claim against the center. We handle these type of sexual abuse cases (we just settled a case against the Archdiocese of Chicago for a near record amount - see July 7 Chicago Sun Times). Kindly contact me upon receipt of this e-mail with your contact info, and I will promptly contact you. I look forward to hearing from you.
