Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

I went to see my doctor and parked on there property in a parking space. when i got out of the car and turned toward the doctors office a bird came and pecked me on my head, then he flew up on a building ledge. Before i knew it he was heading for my face, i tried to bat him away with my purse ,but i fell down on my side, and hurt it. I called the owners of the property to let them know what happened. i told them i fell on my side.the doctor looked at me and said she thought it was just bruised. i went back in a week for a checkup and the doctor said the corporation had called her and said they wasn't responsible, it was an act of god. i don't want to sue them. i am still hurting and would like an xray to see if anything is broke. i don't have ins. to pay for it. Was it an act of god? and they are not responsible?

There are a number of factors that may be involved that would need to be considered before your question can be answered, the most important of which is notice that birds stayed on the building edge and whether they had caused similar issues previously.
