Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

I fell down a step at a bar this weekend and suffered bruises and a concusion. I refused them calling an ambulance and was intoxicated. I also have a disability. Can I sue the bar for not having a sign saying that there is a step and if so what are my chances of winning a case like this.

Possibly you can sue. The informatio provided is insufficient to allow an opinion to be renedered concerning your chances of winning. I might add that based on the information provided, it is not likely that an attorney will accept your case. Good luck.

So let me see if I am getting this straight: You were drunk and You have some sort of disability and in walking around in the bar where you got drunk, you fell down and hurt yourself.

And... now you want to sue the bar because they did not have sign telling you to watch were you going? :)

There is nothing here indicating to me that you would have seen the sign (even if there was one) had you not been drunk and/or disabled... Further, there is nothing here indicating to me that the major reason why you fell was because there was no sign telling you to watch your step... Good luck.
