Medical Bills

My 13 year old child was beaten by another 13 or 14 year old bad enough to have a paramedic look at him. We will have to take him to the doctors and have him looked at because of blurry vision. How much money will this cost I don't know. Can we hold the parents responsible for the medical bills?

As with most things, it depends. Depending on what state you are in, there may be a statute that allows you to pursue a claim against the parents. It will also likely depend on who started the incident. You may have recourse against the school if it happened on school grounds.
