Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Military Bus Accident

I was a civilian working for a

company contracting through the

military. I was injured on a shuttle

bus that is contracted through the

the company I worked for to take

employees on the base. The bus

driver was not paying attention and

rear ended a truck and it sent me

flying. I have suffered a disc strain

and nerve damage. I have attended

physical therapy and seen doctors. I

won a workers compensation claim

but I want to know how much should

I try to settle for in my personal

injury case. My medical bills from the

initial accident were paid but my long

term medical bills haven't been paid.

This happened in 2005 and I still see

a doctor for my injury as of today.

I'm very ''ignorant'' when it comes to

knowing my rights, so I want to

make sure my lawyers are right

about how much to settle for????

There are no formulas. You should either trust the lawyers you have or get lawyers you trust.

I hope this helps.

The information provided is insufficient for an evaluation. Additionally, it sounds like you have an attorney already, so speak with him or her. They are in the best position to know what your case may be worth.
