Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois
My parked car was hit. The driver of the car was not the owner. i was wondering who should i sue? the driver? the owner? or both?

It depends. If you have a police report and you know who the insurance company is for vehicle that hit your car, contact them and present a claim. If you were parked in a legitimate area (for example, not a no parking zone), there should be no reason why the insurance company should not make you an offer. If the person driving the car did not have permission, then you may have to pursue the driver.
