There are a lot of issues to be sorted out here.

More information would need to be known.

Where was the pedestrian, in the street, in crosswalk, on curb?

If in fact you have a viable claim, pain and suffering, medical expenses, time off of work and permanency of injury should be recoverable.

Contact me to discuss.

I hope that whomever was hit is feeling better. There are a lot of different factors. However, if the pedestrian was less than 50% at fault she or he are entitled to lost wages, present, past and future, medical expenses, past, present and future, temporary and permanent disability, disfigurement, pain and suffering if all related to the occurrence. Your best bet is to contact an attorney expereinced in personal injury to discuss the particulars of your case. I know of no personal injury attorney who does not give a free consultation. Some, including myself will come out to the victim's house. If you wish to discuss the situation in more detail please feel free to contact me at (877) 4INLAW4.

Dear Sirs,

The pedestrian may have rights to bring a claim for personal injuries including medical bills and lost wages.

The facts of the accident will be important in determining the value and likelihood of success of the case.
