Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Hi, I recently met a girl at a bar and she offered to drive me to get cigarettes, I got in her car and as she was pulling out another car was pulling in and hit her side of the car. Noone was hurt just some damage. I not knowing the girl or her backround and find her screaming that she doesnt have insurance, I decided it would be better if she didnt involve me in the accident and i walked back to my car and left. Can I get in any legal trouble for leaving with out talking to the cops or giving my info to the other driver?
