Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Is it recommended I get an attorney if two of my cars were hit by an uninsured drunk driver motorist? My insurance said they would try to collect from him and not sure if legal representation is advisable.

If the person who hit your vehicles has no insurance/assets/job there is not much you can do. You may be able to obtain a judgment, but that may be fruitless if there is no $$$ to go after.
