Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Statue of Limitations

I wanted to know the time period or the Statue of Limitations granted to file a law suit in Illinois law. This is for a personal injury civil case.

From the time the accident occurs to the time to legaly file a suit against a said party.

Re: Statue of Limitations

Generally speaking, there is a two year statute of limitations from the time of the injury. However, that can vary based on who the claim is against, when you knew of the injury and other factors. Please feel free to call me at (312) 346-5578 if you have additional questions.
