Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois
Waterfront Liability
I work at a camp with a small man-made lake. I am wondering what exactly we are legally liable for when it comes to safety of our guests.

Re: Waterfront Liability
Generally:
Illinois law requires that you maintain the premises where you guests can found or where you reasonably foresee they can be found in a reasonably safe condition that is reasonably free from dangerous conditions that could harm a guest.
I hope this helps,

Re: Waterfront Liability
Unless you just want some generic answer that the premises should be reasonably free from dangerous conditions, I would suggest that you provide a few more details about your concern.
For example, are you worried about swimming, boating, drowning, a lifeguard, the dock, the pier, etc.
Thanks,
