workmans comp and personal injury

can a person have a personal injury case as well as a workmans comp case when the accident was directly related to the negligence of the facility to properly wire the building causing an electrical shock and accident?

Yes, you may have both a PI and a comp case, but it will depend on which parties were at fault with causing your injury.

Depends on the facts of the case. It is possible to have a WC case for injuries sustain while working and have a third party personal injury claim against the careless party if the careless party is an outside company hired to do some work.
