I bought an used car from a dodge dealership here in Chicago--name removed--Upon driving the car home i discovered a lot of smoke coming from the engine and tail pipe--name removed--I want to return this car and receive a refund--name removed--What is the rule concerning a--name removed--Lemon Car--name removed-- I return it the day after i bought it--name removed--Who is liable for this car--name removed--It is a Dodge Caravan 1994--name removed--

Hello and thank you for
your questions. In my
opinion, the best course of
action is to file a complaint
with the consumer complaint
division of the City of
Chicago. I had a client
that I assisted a few months
ago and this is what we
did and we had great success.
Businesses are licensed to
do business in the city of
Chicago and it is really
easier to negotiate with
these businesses when their
license to conduct business
within the city limits is
on the line. Call or visit
city hall for relief.
