Legal Question in Product Liability in Illinois
when you purchase a certain product from a business and the product is defective, isnt the business obligated to satisfy the customer by replacing said product or returning the money paid for the product?

Not in all instances. You MAY have to use your power as a consumer and never buy from that seller again.....
Also, look into any warranties that the product may have from the orig. manufacturer or if you bought the product with a credit card then ask your credit card co. if they have one....
