Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
30 day notice
if you've been served with a 30 day notice by your town home association, what are your rights, can you work out a payment arrangement? How long before they can remove you from your home?

30 day notice is pretty vague. If it is a 30 day notice to a hearing then you have more time, if it is a formal eviction, then it is 30 days.
If they are giving you a 30 day notice that your house will be foreclosed and the auction will take place in 30 days, you will have about 60 days.
Any kind of lien against real property (or personal, for that mater, like a car) can be foreclosed. Somebody would have to look at what you were sent before giving a final answer.

This is vague. You need to first look at the association by laws and also the minutes to see if they have in the past extended payment arrangements to other association members.
