add my daughter to my property deed

I want to add my adult daughter to my home property deed that we both live in. I do not want to remove my name just add her. There are no leins etc. I need the name of the form.

That would be a deed. You really need to see an attorney for this one.

This is called a quitclaim deed. You should not do this yourself as their is specific language that is not included in the form. If you fill it out incorrectly, by fialing to phrase something the proper way, you could end up not accomplishing what you want done. You should be able to find an attorney to do this for you for under $100.

As the other attorney said, it's done via a quitclaim deed. The mechanics of it are simple for an experienced real estate attorney. However, you need to watch out for the tax implications. This may very well be considered a gift to your daughter, triggering gift tax consequences. You should also consult an accountant.
