Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
Hi, my name is al. I live in a condo and where i live the area is fenced up. On the other side of the fence there are stores where i can buy myself medicine or just snacks. But before you can get to the plaza there are more condos but those are not part of the kind that i live in. A lady told me that if i cross the fence again she'll call the police for trespassing. Would it be trespassing if i crossed the fence to get to the stores?

Based on what you seem to be saying, yes. It appears the land on the "other side" of the fence does NOT belong to the condominium association your unit is part of. Therefore, it is land that belongs to other owners, and you don't have the right to just use their property for your convenience. The fact that the stores are beyond the other property is irrelevant.
