Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

bamboo and other plants

Our neighbor planted bamboo and other vines and plants that are constantly growing in to our yard. Who is responsible for the removal of the bamboo roots and the trimming of the vines and plants. Also, who is responsible for the yard waste, that I feel she has created.

You live somewhere warm enough to grow bamboo? While you do have a right to trim what's on your property, might I suggest you call your municipality and relate that this growth constitutes a public nuisance?
