Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
Bought home, still in 30 day window, have flooding in back yard and air conditioner in 6 inches of water; what rights do I have? No disclosure at closing about water issues!

What 30 day window? Did you get some kind of warranty? There is no Illinois requirement for disclosure of exterior issues like this. But many of us have experienced torrential rains that have caused conditions such as you describe. Have you spoken to your neighbors? Take pictures, and go see the lawyer who handled your closing if you had one.
