broken gas pipe
the city was redoing the sidewalks
outside my house,when a worker
broke the gas pipe and pushed it
through the basement wall causing
a lot of damage to basement . the
city did take picture but i have not
heard anything from them anymore
what should i do.

I think that I would sue the city. How much are your damages?

I would contact public works one more time to see what the city is planning to do. If you get no satisfaction, you'll probably have to talk to a litigation attorney & sue.
