Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

My builder went under. The HOA was dissolved. A new builder has taken over the development and my question is can the new builder make me join there HOA?

Are you alone in your concerns or is there a group of owners feeling the same way? It would be helpful to have an attorney look out for your interests.
